TRW Common English Translation

13Enter through the gate that is narrow from obstacles, because moulded is the gate and expansive and empty is the road leading off into the complete destruction and many are there who themselves are entering through it. 14What gate is narrow from obstacles and road has been so narrowed there is rubbing, leading off into the life and few are there who are finding it. 15But hold towards, from off of the false prophets, which some are coming forward to you in outer apparel as ones who walk forward with you as sheep, but from inside they are wolves seizing by plucking out. 16From off of their plucked fruit you will recognize them. No one is laying forth together from off of thorns a cluster of grapes, neither from off of briers figs. 17In this way, every good tree is making beautiful fruit, but the putrified tree is making harmful fruit. 18A good tree is unable to make harmful fruit, but neither a putrified tree to make beautiful fruit. 19Every tree not making beautiful fruit is being chopped out and into fire is being thrown. 20Without a doubt then, from off of their fruit you will recognize them. 21Not everyone saying to me, “Lord, Lord” will come in, into the Kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father, who is in heavens. 22Many will utter to me in that one day, “Lord, Lord! Do we not in Your name prophesy and in Your name throw out demons, who distribute fortunes, and in Your name do many amazing things?” 23And at that time I will assent to covenant to them that not even at any time do I know you. Go away off from me, you toilers of the lawlessness!
